good luck matey, I suggest a minor engine rebuild before you stick the c20xe in, I know its tempting just to get it in and get razzing but if you replace the head gasket, check the big ends and valve guides...etc just a general poke around you will know the engine better and also have peace of mind.

That Kadett GSi is in incredibly good condition too!

Good stuff there. I recognise that engine crane. We've got one of those. The monster.

                  Thanks..
Yes that crane is very comfortable and it really takes up a bit of space.

Also takes about 10 minutes to raise it. But no engine is too heavy for it.

Only the obvious sugestion of putting an air filter on it lol, but i believe you were trying to find one on here a while back? Put a sock on it in the mean time, thats what ive had to do before lol. Looking good and im glad its all gone in a treat for you and is running! How is the performance, you happy with the difference in power?

                          Cheers Sipo..

Yes will have a filter soon, will buy one locally, K&N or green or something similar..

the engine came with a superchipped ECU, don't really know if it does make a difference, but performance wise, comparing to the 8v, it's much better, and rev's happier..

u could of washed it while the engine was out of the car. I even rebuilt my whole engine when it was out.
