my mk2

Iv got a mk2 astra, that Im sorting out,
so I thought I'd join the site.

I'v only put jamex suspention, GTE front brakes,
and 15" alloys, on the car, so far,

it will get a paint job done, once the bodykit is on,

its only a 1.4, so a better engine might be considered,
once the bodywork is finished,

Looks like its in good condition which is an excellant starting point, I myself don't really like 5 doors in any guise but astra's are an exception :D what colour and body kit are you going for?

Also see if you can get a nice 3" back box for her too ;)

I havent decided on a colour, yet,
for the body kit, Im thinking a smooth euro styled look
nothing to big, no jap style massive front end, or anything,
keeping it subtle

Woohoo another 5 door in the same colour as mine ,personaly i dont like the colour of mine so i will be doing the same as you and getting it painted asap .

I have a 5dr!!!!! if its cheaper to do more than 1 bodykit at a time an you don't mind, how bout sending me some pics of the prototype, i might be interested if they for sale

Im not sure what wheels to put on, once the cars done,
deep dish wheels sound good, should look good on the car,

heres the template for the front bumper,
theres still alot to do to it,

it needs alot more smothing off, and all the dimentions
checking, before I cast the mould from it,
and the sides still need rounded off to follow
the curve of the wheel arch,
quite a bit still to do
