Well I thought it was about time I sorted out some Pix etc, The few pix I have are quite old, I lost hundreds when my Hard drive packed up last year, the ones you see are those I salvaged from various forum posts and friends computers :(

The earliest pic I have left is this one, taken back in September 02' iirc, It was the culmination of what I call "Phase one". A 1.6SV with a Webber 32/34DMTL carb, rounded rear arches, GTE front and rear bumpers and Twin headlights.

In early 2003 I entered "Phase 1.5" this was to get a turbo lump lobbed in.....

Followed by intercooler fitting (My favorite pic):

Finally in August 2003 Phase 1.5 was complete an I got asked to be part of the MIG group in the "show and tell" at Billing:

Sadly in Febuary 2004 my engine let go in a BIG way, and the Kadett has been off the road since. The Engine Is being fully rebuilt at the moment and while thats being done the bodywork is getting a good seeing to too ;)
As with any project worth its salt, It'll be finished just in tim for winter where it'll be put in to storage ready to burst on to the scene again in spring '05

you mean ready to break again in spring 05, then spend the show season rebuilding it ready for winter.

story of my life.

lol, I sure hope not, I havn't got the a.. errrr emotional reserves to go through it again. I've been reduced to driving the white Nova in the pic 2nd from bottom, while the insurance is one 5th of the cost, the MPG quite possibly double and the sex appeal approximately zero, I find it lacking in a certain je nes ce quois! (Thats French for getwrenching, ball breaking, ass kicking acceleration) ;)

I've never seen a car in so many bits as yours is mate, what a job. I was there when it let go and it was total destruction. This car murdered mine before the blow up it really is the complete article.

cant wait to see it done, you know Im more than willing to help as and when you need it, the amount you've given me with mine isnt unappreciated!

The intercooler came from a turbo'd 8v, I had the endcaps chopped off and some new ones welded on by a local engineers, It's got a huge surface area on it but I'm not sure of the size, do you work out the size in Litres by filling it up and measuring the amount of liquid stored?

As for the head lights, they are brilliant, much better than the standard ones with the added bonus of making the car look (imho) better:cool:

Better, in meaning: more light? Or in: better looks? Or both? :p

Halogens?

Xedrah: Bote mate, makes the front end look more aggressive and the light quality & output are far far superior to the standard headlights!

Your pulling my pisser right?

I didnt think they're halogens or am I getting confused with HID:o
They take an H2 bulb ad come on with full beam, when the new bumper goes on I'll have another huge set of spots to flick on for high beam:D
