Bought a few weeks back to (possibly ???????) replace the V6:

Fresh engine with lots of potential, still unsure which to keep though the ever increasing number of tax's, MOT's & insurance complications mean i'll need to make a decision soon :( Thing is, i can't get this outa my head:

Keep them both and garage them for the worst weather then get them out when the sun is a shining

i like the white one best but both are fapping great looking. The combination of the white one with the v6 would be my weapon of choice.
not the worst dilemma in the world is it. turbo tssshhh! or V6 growl :)

You still haven't decided Dan! Weel you've done pretty well to hang on to both so far, so sod it and keep both ;)
I've thought about it loads and I realy can't decide. How about my original thought "Turbo the v6" you know you want to ;)
Thats a tricky one - that red one does look spanking! You did well to pick one up in that condition

Dan
The V6 is a beast, I've been lucky enough to have a drive, but it is a handful. The turbo mk2 would be my choice if I had to only keep one. But hey the V6 doesn't owe you much so just dry store it for a few years and enjoy the turbo motor for a while.
Cheers

PS Keep them both. Amanda and I have 4 Vauxhalls at the moment and they are all kept at our house :o)

Nice cars mate. I'd agree with everyone else and keep both. Far too nice to sell.

Well, a decision has been made & one of these cars is going soon.
I'll confirm soon which it'll be. :p

Well today i took a deposit on the Astra turbo & it should be being picked up tomorrow afternoon.
In some ways i prefered it to the V6, such as the rather business like exhaust note, better balanced handling plus i personally quite liked the look of the thing too.
Had i not already owned the V6, i'd have been happy to 'tinker' with the turbo, but alas, it goes & the roaring 3.0 stays yet again, lol.
