i no its not a mrk 2 astra but it does the job ;)
had this car for about a year now
the story starts when i went and bought my first cosworth was a white saff on a e plate was a shed but got it cheap and had some have decent bits on it

after 6 months of blasting it about i killed the gear box and clutch so had a think what i wanted to do with the car at this point my m8 was braking his blue saff cosworth as he wanted a bike so i bought the shell and wheels running gear gear box of him and decided to reshell my stuff in to the new shell

the car took a few week ends to strip and put the parts in to the blue one all was fine till i took it for a pre mot and the fooker spun a shell iped the engine out so of the road it came again took the engine out for inspection was fooked lol so decided to buy a new engine which i got of another m8 for 800 pounds was a 70.000 mile engine from new but wanted the car mint so had the full engine rebuild and while i was at it got a few bling bits on the way

um set of ap racing calipers from a tvr speed 6 with 330 mm rotors . Rotors are fooked just got new one s with 12 groves and a set of ds2500 pads

spec is 205 block rebore to .5
4x4 pistons 7.8.1 comp insted of 8.2.1 standerd
reground crank
arp bolts
new spec cosworth oil pump
wrc 3 layer steel head gasket
head has bd 10 cams and just a clean up
t34 turbo
grey injectors
rs 500 i/c
set to 34psi peak hold 28 to limiter of 7200 should see 380 bhp and 350 ish foot pounds

after a year the car is almost done has cost me alot of money but its worth it lol still need a few things such as wheels and coil over im hoping to get it ready for my gremany trip next april

nowt worng with a old Fords!!! I'd love an RS500 but it'll never happen, and If Im honest I'd rather have the engine in a Mk4 Cortina for some reason or a Capri...
